The Antlers - the beloved band and recording project of Peter Silberman - have announced their eagerly awaited new album, Blight, arriving via Transgressive Records on Friday, October 10. This is their first new studio album in over four years, released on CD, limited edition clear pink vinyl Blight asks many questions without offering easy answers. Over the course of nine new songs, The Antlers' founder and primary songwriter Silberman reckons with our passively destructive tendencies - absent-minded pollution, unwitting wastefulness, and the inadvertent devastation of the natural world. But despite it's heavy themes, Blight is far from a punishing listen. With it's adventurous arrangements and persistent momentum, it plays more like an iridescent odyssey. The Antlers have kept busy over the last few years, touring with Okkervil River across US, UK & EU. They also released a collaborative live album in June of this year, and will carry out their own headline tour in support of Blight in 2026.
