180-Gram Vinyl Limited Edition. Although Cannonball Adderley experimented with various styles and formats during his career, Cannonball's Bossa Nova [aka Cannonball Adderley and the Bossa Rio Sextet] continues to be an unusual work in his discography. This was not only true because of the Brazilian style to which the LP is devoted, but also because he isn't featured here in the company of his usual collaborators, nor of any other jazz musician. In fact, with the exception of the saxophonist, all the other players here are Brazilian. Sérgio Mendes' combo travelled to New York for the sessions. Drummer Dom Um Romao would eventually stay in the United States, where he became a member of Weather Report. THE COMPLETE LP + 2 BONUS TRACKS -180-GRAM VIRGIN VINYL - LIMITED EDITION
