Twister is the second studio LP from the acclaimed New Zealand quintet Leisure. Produced by the band themselves, the album continues their free form exploration into catchy pop psychedelia, smooth electro-funk and big room modern soul music, all wrapped in shimmering sun-kissed soulful vocals. It's been something like 1000 days since we released our debut album, notes the band. We make our favourite things when we become creatively unconscious and surrender to the moment. Twister was a good opportunity for us to explore ideas to their deepest level but also feel a sense of connection to primitive simplicity. We took turns as the album took shape to fall in love with each song and the process of how each one was made. To land with an eclectic collection of 14 songs; each swirling with their own mood and colour has been an immersive experience for us.

Tracks:

Title: Sunsetter - Solid Red
Artist: Leisure
Label: Nettwerk Records
Product Type: VINYL LP
UPC: 067003128810
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2022-09-16
Number of Discs: 1
Additional Details: COLORED VINYL-RED

In a world preoccupied with instant gratification and overnight success, LEISURE is taking the scenic route. 'Auckland chilled soul-electronic collective LEISURE unveil their exquisite 4th studio album LEISUREVISION. Written and produced over the past 2 years in their home country of New Zealand. The album navigates the human experience, and all the hope, joy, chaos and euphoria it entails, while displaying themes of growth, renewal, and rebirth, and embodying balance, peace and tranquillity. It takes inspiration from various eras - from the smoothness of seventies Blue-eyed-Soul to the romantic energy of early eighties post-disco, locking in with mid-nineties hip-hop drum programming and glued down with what has become somewhat of a signature lush LEISURE guitar sound heard across their discography. LEISUREVISION includes the single 'All the Good Times Never Die', a hopeful, optimistic track, featuring London outfit Night Tapes, and 'Back In Love', a soulful track about the trials and tribulations of navigating parenthood together and taking care to make time for each other again.

Tracks:
1.1 Always
1.2 Still Rolling
1.3 Flame
1.4 Back In Love
1.5 All The Good Times Never Die
1.6 Last Dance
1.7 Rescue Me
1.8 Above Me
1.9 Too Much
1.10 Level
1.11 Summer Season
1.12 Mellow
Title: Welcome to the Mood
Artist: Leisure
Label: Nettwerk Records
Product Type: VINYL LP
UPC: 067003177214
Genre: Indie Rock/Pop
Release Date: 2025-11-21
Number of Discs: 1
Additional Details: ORANGE-180 GRAM VINYL

For their fifth studio album, 'Welcome to the Mood', Auckland's genre-defying sextet Leisure refines their soulful, slow-burning ethos into a radiant new chapter - one rooted in togetherness, creative freedom, and the lived experience of a band evolving with authentic purpose. They also embraced a more organic, live-recording approach on 'Welcome to the Mood'. The group explains, Off the back of touring the last album, we had played more shows than ever and wanted to bring more of the live element into the process, so we didn't use drum breaks and loops as much as previous records and tracked live. They continued expanding their sound by bringing in specialist musicians - string sections, brass, pianos, and backing vocalists - pushing the sonic possibilities beyond their individual skill sets. Yet at it's core, the album remains deeply personal. Written in remote hideaways, the songs carry the tranquility of escape while capturing a newfound confidence in emotional vulnerability. Thematically, 'Welcome to the Mood' is a rich sonic auditory tapestry woven with threads of authenticity, humanity, and creative celebration. Lyrically, the album explores universal experiences - love, loss, connection, hope, and purpose -drawn from the everyday yet rendered in Leisure's distinct palette of lush tones and laid-back groove. Tracks are anchored in realness but elevated by a sonic landscape that feels simultaneously nostalgic and futuristic, mirroring the ethos of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose Taliesin West provided literal and symbolic inspiration during the album's visual journey.

Tracks:
1.1 Side A
1.2 Welcome to the Mood
1.3 Sundown
1.4 Diamonds
1.5 Missing You
1.6 The Colour of the Sound
1.7 Side B
1.8 Dominoes
1.9 Beach House
1.10 Tenderness
1.11 Desert Moon Sky
1.12 One in a Million
