Digitally remastered edition. Damned Damned Damned is the debut studio album by The Damned, the first UK punk band to release a single ('New Rose', included here, in October 1976). The album was released on February 18, 1977 by the ground-breaking and irreverent Stiff label. Produced by Nick Lowe, Damned Damned Damned is also the first full length album released by a UK punk group. Pretty much a stone classic and a much lauded punk masterpiece, this is a record driven by power chords, speed and a trashy attitude which belies the quality of the songs, which are uniformly excellent.
