This makes the instrument very versatile and suitable for performing a wide musical repertoire. The Cremonese organistPaolo Bottini, already a protagonist in the valorization of other historical organs of Cremona through numerous recordings for variousrecord labels, presents in this CD a series of pieces by composers who worked in the Cremona area, starting from himself and going to backin time to Claudio Monteverdi, born in Cremona in 1567, the year in which construction of the organ began. The church and monastery of San Sigismondo in Cremona are governed by an order of cloistered nuns and therefore the Maineri-Acerbiorgan is used only for liturgical purposes: this makes this CD even more precious because it allows you to listen to the voice of this historicorgan in a repertoire of exceptional stylistic variety.

Tracks:
1.1 Fantasia sopra Salve Regina
1.2 Offertorio fantasia
1.3 Toccata per organo
1.4 Scherzo in sol maggiore
1.5 Offertorio in do maggiore
1.6 Meditazione
1.7 Offertorio in mi bemolle maggiore
1.8 Andante religioso in fa maggiore
1.9 Sinfonia metà per organo e metà per pianoforte
1.10 Marziale finale (da Il raccoglitore musicale, anno XIV, fascicolo primo, Martinenghi, Milano 1869)
1.11 Ave Maria per soprano e organo
1.12 Spiritosissimo in fa maggiore
1.13 Allegro in si bemolle maggiore
1.14 Sonata col Flauto
1.15 Tre canzoni inedite~[Part 1]
1.16 Tre canzoni inedite~[Part 2]
1.17 Tre canzoni inedite~[Part 3]
1.18 Toccata del secondo tono
1.19 Canzon quinta La Visconta
1.20 Messa a 4 da cappella (1640)~Kyrie
