Although their styles, repertoires, and personal stories differ, Austin Derryberry and Trenton \"Tater\" Caruthers share a love for the music of their respective regions, and a commitment to keep that music alive and well. While traditional fiddling from Eastern Kentucky, Central West Virginia, or the Round Peak region of North Carolina has been well-documented and remains popular among revival musicians, tunes from Middle Tennessee have not been heard as much. The release of Tennessee Breakdown will bring that style and repertoire to a wider audience.
