He'd arrived in town in 1958, just as Country music was undergoing major metamorphosis towards sweeter, more commercial sounds, in line with R\u0026amp;R, Rockabilly and contemporary Pop. The compilation looks at Boots' early days in Nashville and features him playing on an eclectic set of Country, R\u0026amp;R?and Pop sessions, a representative cross section of what was being recorded in Music City at that time.
