His recording of his song "Party Doll" came out on the local Triple-D label and eventually found it's way to Roulette Records, who took it over and released it to have a US No. 1 and UK No. 29 in early 1957, and over the next couple of years he had several more hits. This 44-track 2-CD set comprises the A & B sides of his singles on the Roulette and Liberty labels from this era, plus the tracks not otherwise featured on singles from the Roulette albums "Buddy Knox" and "Buddy Knox & Jimmy Bowen", and the Liberty album "Golden Hits". It features all his eleven career hits in the pop and UK charts, including "Party Doll" and the US No. 9 "Hula Love". This collection offers just about as comprehensive an overview of this primary era of his career as a chart artist as can be achieved, and best-known as he is for producing one of the iconic teen rock 'n' roll hits of the early rock 'n roll years, this gives an insight into the broader spectrum of his music.

Tracks:
1.1 Party Doll
1.2 My Baby's Gone
1.3 Rock Your Little Baby to Sleep
1.4 Don't Make Me Cry
1.5 Hula Love
1.6 Devil Woman
1.7 Swingin' Daddy
1.8 Whenever I'm Lonely
1.9 Somebody Touched Me
1.10 C'mon Baby
1.11 Teasable, Pleasable You
1.12 That's Why I Cry
1.13 I Think I'm Gonna Kill Myself
1.14 To Be with You
1.15 Taste of the Blues
1.16 I Ain't Sharin' Sharon
1.17 Long Lonely Nights
1.18 Storm Clouds
1.19 Lovey Dovey
1.20 I Got You
1.21 Ling-Ting-Tong
1.22 The Kisses (They're All Mine)
2.1 All By Myself
2.2 Three Eyed Man
2.3 Chi-Hua-Hua
2.4 Open (Your Lovin' Arms)
2.5 She's Gone
2.6 Now There's Only Me
2.7 Dear Abby
2.8 Three Way Love Affair
2.9 Rock House
2.10 Rock-A-Billy Walk
2.11 Mary Lou
2.12 Maybelline
2.13 'Cause I'm in Love
2.14 Rock Around the Clock
2.15 All for You
2.16 The Girl with the Golden Hair
2.17 You'll Be Glad
2.18 Party Doll
2.19 Rock Your Little Baby to Sleep
2.20 Hula Love
2.21 Somebody Touched Me
2.22 Slippin' and Slidin'

Audio Sample:
All soundclips are provided by Tidal and are for illustrative purposes only.
