He immigrated to Miami at age 20 to escape the political climate of the late 90's and resides in Manhattan since 2008. Juan's music blends elements from his experience as a recording and touring rock guitarist in Colombia and Miami, and extensive studies on East Asian music inspired by interaction with musicians and artists in China, Japan, and Indonesia. This is truly original, evocative music. Colombian-American soprano Stephanie Lamprea is the superb soloist in "Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa."

Tracks:
1.1 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~El paisaje
1.2 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~Si tu me lo preguntas
1.3 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~Para vencer la soledad
1.4 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~Futuro
1.5 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~Final
1.6 Six Songs for Soprano and Guitar on poetry by Octavio Gamboa~Con el silencio estoy en armonía
1.7 Five Guitar Pieces I~Study for Atonal Chord Progressions
1.8 Five Guitar Pieces I~Thames
1.9 Five Guitar Pieces I~Lippincott's Double Ninth
1.10 Five Guitar Pieces I~Elegy for Wladislaw Szpilman
1.11 Five Guitar Pieces I~Renaissance Jazz
1.12 Five Guitar Pieces II~Coney Island Bound on a Holiday
1.13 Five Guitar Pieces II~Slur Etude No. 4
1.14 Five Guitar Pieces II~The Return
1.15 Five Guitar Pieces II~Passarale
1.16 Five Guitar Pieces II~K-town Ragtime
1.17 Improvisation V

Audio Sample:
All soundclips are provided by Tidal and are for illustrative purposes only.
