In honor of this world renowned Ellingtonian trumpet and flugelhornist, we present to you, for the first time, a rare performance from a 1986 live at the Carnegie Recital Hall. Terry teams up with Basie Alumnus Frank Foster on tenor and soprano saxophone, with additional support from alto saxophonist Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno (Illinois Jacquet Big Band), and trombonist Clifford Adams, (Kool and the Gang), also recently departed (as of this writing) who are supported by Terry's working rhythm section at the time. What you will hear in this outing is a warm and loving tribute to Terry's mentor, the great Duke Ellington, transforming Carnegie Recital Hall into a private Jazz party in your own living room.

Tracks:
1.1 Take the a Train
1.2 In a Mellotone
1.3 Lush Life
1.4 I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart
1.5 Spacemen
1.6 Mood Indigo
1.7 Satin Doll
1.8 It Don't Mean a Thing
1.9 Sophisticated Lady
1.10 Perdido
1.11 Jeep's Blues
1.12 Come Sunday
1.13 Carnegie Blues
1.14 Cottontail
1.15 Jones
1.16 Things Ain't What They Used to Be
