For me, it's the drone, 'what's going on in the background' that serves to hold my interest. Behind the tightly wound techno core of Cataleptic, the sound of a babbling brook and a plaintive, meandering bird call gently give way to the tintinnabulation of a distant bell. But make no mistake, Wilson's productions are designed for the dancefloor through and through.
