Gunnison and Simon both worked extensively with Carmen McRae's trio. Greg Gisbert has been in the big bands of Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Phil Wilson, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Maria Schnieder and the Smithsonian Band. Paul Romaine was Woody Herman's drummer and has led and played with many groups in Colorado and across the nation.
