Recorded mainly at Acme studios in Chicago, Donna's first CD has guest artists John Williams on accordion, Eric Remschneider on cello, and Donny Jacobs on klezmer clarinet. Donna is based in Chicago and has been a regular at the Uncommon Ground Coffeehouse, appearing solo and in the Jeff Buckley tribute concerts. Her music appears on the Uncommon Ground compiliation 'Live at the Uncommon Ground.' She has performed in the past at Schuba's (opening for Cheryl Wheeler), Charlie's Coffeehouse, The Chicago Music Mart and the Navy Pier Beer Garden. From l989 to l991, Donna was a guitarist and backup singer for The Art Thieves, led by John Kimsey. In l996, Donna gave her songs to Lou Conte dance studio instructor Domenick Danza. This began a two year collaboration writing songs for his educational theater group, 'Green Light Performing Company.' During this time she wrote 'Invisible Light,' a song about the properties of light and supernovas. Invisible Light was performed by Green Light at the Adler Planetarium (no relation). The company also had performences of her songs at Links Hall & Around the Coyote. In l997, Donna was the voice of the Little Lotto commercial 'It's easy to play Little Lotto.' She has sung harmony on stage with Robbie Fulks, the late Tom Dundee, Buddy Mondlock & Kyle Vincent, and continues to learn harmony parts to other people's songs, hoping to one day get the chance... Donna is currently recording a new CD in Nashville.
