Earth Opera was an American rock group who were part of the Boston psychedelic scene. Active from 1967-1969, the group featured Peter Rowan and David Grisman. They were folk and bluegrass performers in Boston clubs, who got caught up in the changes in the music scene in the mid 1960's. They formed Earth Opera in 1967. They were joined by John Nagy on bass, Paul Dillon on drums and Bill Stevenson on keyboards and vibraphone.
