Get Set Go is one of the three founders of the Launchpad scene, Los Angeles' seminal indie-rock community based at Mr. T's Bowl, Spaceland, the Echo, and the Knitting Factory. Other noteworthy bands to come from that scene include Arlo (SubPop), Vendetta Red (Epic), Electric Eel Shock (Eat Rice), and Critter Jones (Maverick).
