In the late 60s he joined Colosseum, and ventured into the little explored territory at the time where Blues, Jazz and Rock meet. He also had a spell with Pete Brown's Battered Ornaments. In addition to doing session work he released a number of solo recordings. The album Woza Nasu bears an African influence, and received much critical acclaim. The album had something of a chequered release history, and has been previously released on Mainstream and Aura records.
