Grieg never wrote a violin concerto, and the foremost Norwegian violinist of his generation, Henning Kraggerud, assisted by Bernt Simen Lund, a member of the Tromso Chamber Orchestra, has taken up the challenge of creating three new concertos from the sonatas.
