However, this virtuoso was also a fantastic composer. On this CD from pianist Stefan Burckhardt, Henselt's romantic chamber music has been rediscovered. Henselt appears as a composer who challenged the technical and aesthetic possibilities of his time, albeit with a pleasing gesture!
