After making his first American appearance at the 1967 Monterey Jazz Festival, this legendary French jazz violinist rose to fame during the '70s with a series of gold-selling albums for Atlantic. Recorded in the summer of '96 at Michigan's waterfront venue, this album represents a vital \"greatest hits\" collection of Ponty's best-loved and most-acclaimed work.
