December 2016 will mark the 70th birthday of José Carreras, the world-class tenor. The year 2016 also coincides with his Final World Tour. This set is a career spanning collection. Born in Barcelona, at the age of 8, he gave his first public performance, singing "La donna è mobile" on Spanish National Radio. He made his debut on the operatic stage at 11 as Trujamán - boy soprano - in Manuel de Falla's El retablo de Maese Pedro. He played his first tenor role as Flavio in Norma alongside the eminent soprano and fellow Catalan, Montserrat Caballé. He gained fame with a wider audience as one of the Three Tenors along with Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti in a series of mass concerts that began in 1990 and continued until 2003. Carreras is also known for his humanitarian work as the president of the José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation, which he established following his own recovery from the disease in 1988. This new product highlights all aspects of his major artistry: light classics, Zarzuela, great opera arias.

Tracks:
1.1 En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor [From Concierto de Aranjuez]
1.2 El Eco de Tu Voz (From Tango) (Jose Carreras)
1.3 Andaluza (From Danza Espanola N°5) (Jose Carreras)
1.4 Love Is a Melody (Clarinet Concerto K. 622 in a Major Second Movement : Adagio) (Jose Carreras)
1.5 I Remember You (Piano Sonata N° 8 in C minor Second Movement : Adagio Cantabile) (Jose Carreras)
1.6 Dimmi Perche (From Serenade) (Jose Carreras)
1.7 Tristesse [From Étude in E Major Op.10 No.3]
1.8 Le Note Di Chopin (From Nocturne in Eb) (Jose Carreras)
1.9 Amore Perduto [From Adagio in G minor]
1.10 If Tomorrow Comes (Symphony N° 9 Op. 95 in E minor : Largo) (Jose Carreras)
1.11 Brave New World (Symphony N° 9 in E minor : Finale) (Jose Carreras)
1.12 Close to Me (Symphony N° 3 Op. 90 in F Major Third Movement : Poco Allegretto) (Jose Carreras)
1.13 Come Take My Heart (Liebestraum N° 3 "O Lieb" S 298) (Jose Carreras)
1.14 Parole D'amore [From Piano Concerto No.2]
1.15 Europa (From Tannhäuser - Overture) (Jose Carreras)
1.16 The Story of a Starry Night (From Symphony N°6) (Jose Carreras)
1.17 Un'ombra [From Warsaw Concerto]
2.1 El Huésped Del Sevillano : "Canto a la Espada" (José Carreras and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.2 El Guitarrico : "Jota de Perico" (José Carreras and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.3 El Gato Montés : "Si Torero Quiero SÉ" (José Carreras, Isabel Rey and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.4 La Dolorosa : "Relato de Rafael" (José Carreras and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.5 Sangre de Reyes : "Adios Para Siempre" (José Carreras and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.6 El Barberillo de Lavapiés : "No Hay Que Quitar los Hilvanes" (José Carreras, Isabel Rey and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.7 La Leyenda Del Beso : "Amor Mi Raza Sabe Conquistar" (José Carreras, Isabel Rey and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.8 Emigrantes : "Granadinas" (José Carreras and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.9 No Puede Ser
2.10 El Duo de la Africana : "Duo - Jota" (José Carreras, Isabel Rey and English Chamber Orchestra)
2.11 Visione (Jose Carreras)
2.12 Tristezza (Jose Carreras)
2.13 L'ultimo Bacio (Jose Carreras)
2.14 L'amor Passò
2.15 Musica Proibita, Op.5 [Mala Pasqua!]
2.16 Granada
3.1 Tosca, Act 3: "E Lucevan Le Stelle" (Cavaradossi)
3.2 Turandot, Act 1 (1991 Remastered Version): Non Piangere, Liu (José Carreras/Mirella Freni/Alain Lombard/Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg)
3.3 Turandot, Act 3: "Nessun Dorma" (Calaf) (Alain Lombard)
3.4 La Bohème, Act 1: "Che Gelida Manina" (Rodolfo) (James Conlon)
3.5 Manon Lescaut, Act 1: "Donna Non Vidi Mai" (Des Grieux)
3.6 Cavalleria Rusticana (1987 Remastered Version): Mamma, Quel Vino È Generoso (Turiddu/Mamma Lucia/San (José Carreras/Astrid Varnay/Philharmonia Orchestra/Riccardo Muti)
3.7 Pagliacci, Atto Primo, Scena Seconda/Scene 2/Zweite Szene/Deuxième Scène, Recitar!...
