Volume 1 is the first in a series of 3 releases coming out in November\/December 2012. All of the tracks were recorded during K-Def's \"House of Hits\" phase on his legendary MPC60 in the B Room during the early '90's. The first release see's K-Def presenting the previously unheard track \"What Goes Up\" from Rated R. As with all Slice-Of-Spice pressings no expense has been spared for this vinyl labor of love. The release includes a full color jacket with a 3mm spine, feraturing original artwork by the legendary Joe Buck.
