Each release representing the highlights from the BELL RECORDS releases of it's respective year. Arthur Shimkin was an expert at selling records to children. In 1948, he talked the New York publishing house Simon and Schuster into bankrolling GOLDEN RECORDS, an instant sensation with the kiddies. When Arthur Shimkin set his sights on a more mature demographic in 1952 by launching BELL RECORDS, he retained his maverick mindset. Instead of creating fresh material for his artists to record, label founder Shimkin covered the hottest pop sellers of the day with lesser-known singers, again marketing them at vastly reduced prices but insisting on hiring top-flight session players and utilizing some of New York's best recording studios. From 1952 to 1960, BELL RECORDS released a slew of singles that surveyed the best songs of the era - almost entirely pop fare early on but eventually shifting into rock and roll. The albums in this series are a true gem for music enthusiasts and collectors of musical productions from the 1950s.

Tracks:
1.1 Jimmy Cone ; Jimmy Carroll and His Orchestra - Get a Job
1.2 Dottie Marshall ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - Fever
1.3 Tony Wilson ; Jimmy Carroll and His Orchestra - Stood Up
1.4 The Eden Brothers ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - All I Have to Do Is Dream
1.5 Elise Britton ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - Stupid Cupid
1.6 The Terrifics ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - Little Star
1.7 Jackie Robins - Chantilly Lace
1.8 Edna McGriff ; Jimmy Carroll and His Orchestra - Don't Just You Know It
1.9 Barry Frank ; Jimmy Carroll and His Orchestra - Oh-Oh, I'm Falling in Love Again
1.10 John Drew ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - Splish Splash
1.11 Sam Cee ; the Ed Cee Orchestra - Johnny B.
