Their music draws from a wide range of influences such as early 20th century classical music, 50's lounge\/exotica, '60s psychedelia, '70s progressive\/kraut-rock, fusion, contemporary electronica and ambient\/experimentalism. Using a vast array of keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and walls of electronics, the group creates dynamic, multilayered songs which explore tone, mood and composition. Although Mahogany Frog's unorthodox sounds and complex arrangements can challenge the listener, their haunting progressions and playful melodies are immediately catchy and satisfying.\"Senna by Mahogany Frog\" is the group's sixth full-length release.
