Miles Tackett, founder, producer & multi instrumentalist of the Breakestra picked up his original instrument, electric guitar, stepped in front of the microphone & recorded a new album stretching into psychedelic rock 'n soul territory. Recorded on 8 track analog tape for warm, vintage & dirty sounds at his New tilt studio in Highland Park, California. The new record features a pychedelic soul version of a deep in the cut David Crosby Byrds era song "Everybody's been burned" with Miles on all instruments. Recorded on analog tape in Los Angeles, Tackett's skills as a guitarist, singer, producer, and engineer are at the forefront as he warmly weaves together blues, jazz, and psych rock with the funky soul sounds he is famous for. His lyrics range from the very personal to stories of sundazed Californians. "Just What I Need" is the first single featuring Tackett on vocals, guitar & keys.
