The music for the single \"True Love (Parts 1 \u0026amp; 2)\" was originally conceived and arranged by Creative Funk producer Gary DeBerry. When vocalist Shelia Perry first heard the track she felt inspired to write the lyrics about a hot summer day of True Love, which flowed so smoothly with the track - the groove is hot and the band is definitely in the zone. The single starts out as an old school soul ballad, then morphs into a straight up helping of pure funk.
