What ensues are some of the most soulfully mellow yet melodic sounds ever heard. Hill supervised much of the arrangements, while Fambrough, a truly great jazz composer's work is featured here to great effect on two of the titles. Flautist Art Webb is the main soloist, and contributes 2 of the titles, while guitarist Monette Sudler contributes one as well.
