The quartet is established as one of the premiere chamber music groups of it's type. They have recorded two classical CDs, Musica Latina and The Orion Saxophone Quartet with Harvey Pittel. Among Friends, featuring guest soloist Gary Foster, represents the group's first jazz recording, and it clearly shows their versatility.
