Chambers' contribution on \"Kind Of Blue\" is considered to be some of the most rhythmically and harmonically supportive bass playing in the history of jazz. Chambers' masterpiece 'Bass On Top' opens with \"Yesterdays\" which has some of the most beautiful bowed bass you can hear, with a sensitive but subtle support from Kenny Burrell, Hank Jones, and Art Taylor. \"Dear Old Stockholm\" is a another great beauty.
