A young cavalry officer finds his woman tortured by the Apaches and he blames the Army for not properly protecting the outpost. He becomes a deserter and an avenger, and starts chasing and killing Indians without warning. Piero Piccioni has composed an orchestral OST where he alternates a recurrent adventurous Beat sound main theme with dramatic suspense music and nostalgic love themes.
