The album recording sessions lasted a few days, and several songs were written and arranged directly in the studio. The result is a little pop\/rock gem with psychedelic and sometimes progressive hints, without any follow-up and whose genesis still remains partly mysterious even today. The presence of Battiato and the fact that it has never been re-released on vinyl have made \"Area di Servizio\" a cult album practically impossible to find, which is now re-released as a faithful reproduction of the original copy with the addition of a beautiful collector's item: a 1:1 reproduction of the original 1972 70x100cm promotional poster!
