Ricky has worked with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Charles Mingus Dynasty, Lionel Hampton, the Newport All Stars and Ibdullah Ibrahim. His colleagues form an 'All-American' rhythm section - Jaki Byard, an authentic original, 'The Judge' Milt Hiton - a player of seemingly endless energy, and Monk's long time drummer, Ben Riley.
