Formed in 1979 by guitarist, lead vocalist, and songwriter Steve Riggs, the band had a sound that blended hard rock with glam, metal, and pop rock influences, which was characteristic of many bands from the early '80s rock scene. The album featured a mix of hard rock anthems and more melodic, radio-friendly tracks.
