She now has a prominent role in the US underground scene not only because of the many bands she has formed or collaborated with (The Sonora Pine, Retsin, Ida, Papa M, Naysayer, Sebadoh, Come or Jackie-O-Motherfucker) but because of her solo stuff. Albums like Peregrine, TJO or You Sound, Reflect are good examples of her folk-experimental-lo-fidelity-abstract-but-confessional intentions.
