Eponymous albums are usually reserved for debuts, but for The Ladybug Transistor this new record is a debut of sorts. For the first time in their career the Ladybugs ventured out from their home studio in the Marlborough Farms section of Brooklyn, NY and traveled cross-country to Wavelab studios in Tucson, AZ to record with Craig Schumacher. The band arrived in Arizona with a fully realized batch of songs, having refined their new compositions on the road through tours in both the U.S. and Europe.
