During the mid-to-late 1950s The Platters were the most popular vocal group in the world. They appeared on dozens of top-ranking US?TV?shows, in six iconic R\u0026amp;R movies, and headlined tours in the US, the UK, mainland Europe, Australia, South America and The Philippines.
