He was a child prodigy in country music but became a significant figure in roots rock and other genres as well. Sahm is considered one of the most important figures in what is identified as Tex Mex music. Proficient on multiple instruments, he was the founder and leader of the 1960s rock and roll band, The Sir Douglas Quintet. He would later co-found the Texas Tornados with Augie Meyers, Freddy Fender, and Flaco Jimenez as well as Los Super Seven. This 1985 double live set captures the Quintet on sparkling form. It features their best known hit "She's About a Mover" from 1965, as well as "Mendocino" (1968) and "Dynamite Woman" (1969).

Tracks:
1.1 Texas Tornado
1.2 Crying My Heart Out
1.3 T-Bone Blues
1.4 Things That I Used to Do
1.5 Look Over Yonder Wall
1.6 At the Crossroads
1.7 I Wanna Fall in Love Again
1.8 County Line
1.9 Susie Darlin'
1.10 Be Real
1.11 Que Paso
1.12 Happy Birthday to Augie
1.13 Chicano
1.14 She's About a Mover
1.15 Folsom Prison Blues
1.16 I Know You Know
1.17 Orange Blossom Special
1.18 Heartaches By the Number
2.1 Intro
2.2 Texas Me
2.3 Dynamite Woman
2.4 Together Again
2.5 Dealer's Blues
2.6 Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone?
2.7 Wooly Bully
2.8 Tears
2.9 Full Band Intros
2.10 Deep in the Heart of Texas
2.11 Who Were You Thinking Of?
2.12 Mendocino
2.13 Who'll Be the Next in Line?
2.14 Adios Mexico
2.15 Long Tall Sally
