At various times the group's membership included Academy Award-winning actor Alan Arkin, Erik Darling who went on to co-found the Rooftop Singers of 'Walk Right In' fame, virtuoso musician Eric 'Duelling Banjos' Weissberg and Marshall Brickman, co-author of the scripts for many of Woody Allen's finest films - to name just a few graduates from their musical academy!The Tarriers were active from 1957 to 1964, during which time they continually challenged the Kingston Trio as America's most loved folk favourites. This Jasmine collection features two albums from two different line ups of the group - one studio, and one live - drawn from their middle, and many would say peak, years.
