But their song settings, at least in this collection, are very often out-of-doors, in a beautiful garden of love. We are among flowers and birds, under the moon and the stars, and we are building up, every so politely, to that big goodnight as dawn is breaking. The crooners are, for the most part, light-voiced and sing quite high. Their diction is generally excellent, a far cry from the jazz and blues singers of the 1920s.

Tracks:
1.1 Blue Kentucky Moon - Gene Austin
1.2 You Brought a New Kiind of Love to Me - Smith Ballew
1.3 Love Is the Sweetest Thing - Al Bowlly, New Mayfair Orchestra, Ray Noble
1.4 Cocktails for Two - Carl Brisson
1.5 Out in the Cold Again - Chick Bullock
1.6 Evening - Gus Arnheim, Buddy Clark, Orchestra
1.7 Goodnight, Sweetheart - Russ Columbo
1.8 Learn to Croon - Sam Coslow
1.9 Boo Boo Boo - Bing Crosby
1.10 Singing a Song to the Stars - Cliff "Ukelele Ike" Edwards
1.11 Don't Tell Her What Happened to Me - Sammy Fain
1.12 Confessin' That I Love You - Art Gillham
1.13 Hold Me - Little Jack Little
1.14 Hello!
