LTM are proud to announce the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed Futurism & Dada Reviewed collection, with a full length archive CD titled SURREALISM REVIEWED. For the very first time, original recordings by the following key artists, writers, poets and theorists are now gathered together on a single volume: MARCEL DUCHAMP, ANDRE BRETON, ROBERT DESNOS, LOUIS ARAGON, MAX ERNST, SALVADOR DALI, TRISTAN TZARA, PHILIPPE SOUPAULT, MAN RAY, ROLAND PENROSE, ANTONIN ARTAUD, LEE MILLER, HERBERT READ, JEAN COCTEAU. The various recordings, made between 1929 And 1963, include poetry, interviews, lectures and manifestos. Most are in the English language, and some in French. Some, such as those by Desnos (1938) and Read (1937), have not been heard since they were first recorded onto acetate discs. Running for 74 minutes and featuring extensive sleevenotes, the disc is a must for all students of 20th Century art and literature and the avant garde, as well as left-field musical ideas and endeavor. Praise for Futurism & Dada Reviewed (LTMCD 2301): 'This is exceptional, unremittingly fresh and joyous' (The Wire); 'An astounding collection - more of this kind of thing now' (Melody Maker); 'It blows the pants off most of the crap that passes for pop these days' (Vox).

Tracks:
1.1 Un Chien Andalou - Tango Argentinos
1.2 The Surrealist Object - Herbert Read
1.3 The Creative Act - Marcel Duchamp
1.4 La Toison D'or - Jean Cocteau
1.5 Interview (1960S) - Max Ernst
1.6 Dada Into Surrealism (1959) - Tristan Tzara
1.7 Interview (1959) - Phillipe Soupault
1.8 Interview (1963) - Salvador Dali
1.9 Interview - Man Ray
1.10 Interview (1946) - Lee Miller/ Roland Penrose
1.11 Description of a Dream (1938) - Robert Desnos
1.12 Interview (1950) - Andre Breton
1.13 L'union Libre - Andre Breton
1.14 Interview (1963) - Louis Aragon
1.15 Alienation Et Magie Noire (1947) - Antonin Artaud
