He's been on the scene since his arrival in Chicago as a teenager in the midst of the heyday of Chicago blues in 1953. He put out his only album in the early 80s which became a collector's item over the years and was re-issued in 2010 as The Life I Love (Delmark 805). At that time it was decided Willie would create a new album for Delmark but it wasn't until Rockin' Johnny stepped forward that the project got off the ground. Cell Phone Man features 16 songs with a heavy dose of Muddy Waters Chicago Blues. Johnny's Band is Rick Kreher, Barrelhouse Chuck, John Sefner, Steve Bass and special guest Bharath Rajakumar.

Tracks:
1.1 Doin' Good and Bad at the Same Time
1.2 Darling I Miss You So
1.3 Strange Woman
1.4 Cell Phone Man
1.5 I Want My Baby
1.6 I Don't Know Why
1.7 Two Women Talking
1.8 Two Trains Running
1.9 The Love We Share
1.10 Going Down Main Street
1.11 Streamline Woman
1.12 What's the Matter with the Mill
1.13 Tow Truck Man
1.14 Tried to Work Something Out with You
1.15 My Eyes Keep Me in Trouble
1.16 I Wanna Talk to My Baby
1.17 Blow Wind Blow

Audio Sample:
All soundclips are provided by Tidal and are for illustrative purposes only.
