After holding posts as composer and organist in Florence and Rome, he joined the Jesuit Society and finally settled in Argentina where he served as a missionary and continued composing. Like his teachers, Zipoli composed in the Italian keyboard style, writing for both harpsichord and organ. This album contains his complete works for keyboard.
