Aleister Crowley's Wax Cylinder Recordings Materialize as Glow-in-the Dark Vinyl
It was bound to happen, but actually fans have had to wait a surprisingly long time to listen to the incantations of magician Aleister Crowley on glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
The original wax cylinder recordings composed of the writer and occultist's spoken words were transferred to 78s, then converted into LP form, hitting widespread release around 2014, but quickly selling out.
Now you can find them around, but not always with great ease. Even easier? Picking up this new release coming soon from Tower and in extra spooky phosphorescence.
If you really can't wait, we do have the regular vinyl available. But the glow-in-the-dark option arrives on June 12th, 2020 and is up for pre-order.
The record contains "creepy intonations of black magic rituals as well as ruminations on topics from the sinking of The Titanic to American independence that will thrill collectors of the odd and mystical!"
