Amalia is back. And like you've never heard her before. The long-awaited follow up to her Love Touch debut, "Sanctify" is finally here. "Don't Be Ashamed Of Love" (prod. By Gil Masuda) is an 80s stepper that has Amalia pouring out her heart and soul. The funked out intro begins with spitting hi-hats and twinkly DX7 chords, creating palpable tension. Her opening line hits: "I'm tired of strangers' faces... this messin' around I just can't do". What follows is a massive powerhouse vocal juxtaposed with a whispery, ethereal chorus. The flip side, "In My Bed" (prod. By Gil Masuda) is yet another gem, with equal touches of 80s UK Boogie and Parliament-Funkadelic. The up-tempo track explores the hardships of navigating a love life during this pandemic.
