Wenty-nine rockin' songs from across Carl Perkins' career. Sun... of course, Decca, Columbia, and Mercury. The songs include Blue Suede Shoes... of course, and much MUCH more. But in a way, Carl Perkins was one of the era's giants, if not in terms of charted records then certainly in other ways. Carl Perkins was one of the first to sing lead, write the songs, and play lead guitar. And he was one of the first to bring a hillbilly feel to R&B or an R&B feel to hillbilly, thereby creating rockabilly, and thereby creating rock 'n' roll. Incredibly, this is the first full career retrospective of Carl Perkins... Read more at: https://www. Bear-family. #de/
