'Hidden Everywhere' is the latest recording by singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer Chris Rosser. Hailing from the mountains of Asheville, NC, Chris Rosser is the winner of the 2000 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival songwriter contest and has showcased at the Kerrville Folk Fest and the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest. In addition to playing guitar (in some very strange tunings!), he plays jazz piano and has studied Hindustani classical music with world-renowned Indian musician, Ali Akbar Khan. He also performs as a member of the world/jazz fusion trio Free Planet Radio, and tours as a keyboardist in the ensemble of master Turkish musician Omar Faruk Tekbilek. He is perhaps best known as a songwriter however - Dirty Linen described his songs as 'lovely homages to the experience of being alive and human.' 'Chris' songs are good medicine. Kind and heartfelt and beautifully written.' --David Wilcox 'What evolved planet did this person drop in from? It gives one pause when someone so talented and unique is also so unassuming. Just watching Chris play, whether on stage or in the song circle at night, I learned things, some of which were about music. How he carried himself, his hand position, the way he approached the strings, how he laid down his signature grooves, his vocal tone and intonation, all these were singularly Rosserfarian, to beg a word.' --Frank Goodman, puremusic.com.
