BIRMINGHAM is Eric Essixs best recording to date, and it's no wonder. The album was produced by industry stalwart Kelvin Wooten (Mary J. Blige, the Isley Brothers, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, and many more). This album also marks the guitarists third album with major distribution following in the wake of South Bound and Small Talk, both making a name for Eric, and defining his signature sound that explores Soul, R&B, Gospel, and Funk. Eric recorded his debut album as a solo artist in 1988 and 13 albums later he is still making music that moves, that captures the imagination and touches the emotions. His latest album is particularly revealing and personal, giving the listener an up close look at the man behind the music and the place he calls home, Birmingham Alabama.
