Songs like Standing Right Here and Promised Land were guaranteed to pack dance floors at legendary nightspots like Flamingo and The Paradise Garage, yet the original mixes simply weren't long enough to fuel the transcendent, marathon dance floor sessions that led many a clubber to disco heaven. Enter the 6 extended cuts that comprise Dancin With Melba, re-mixed by the late Richie Rivera an unsung hero from the now mythic underground New York disco scene that spawned legends like the late Larry Levan and Nicky Siano, to name a few.
