2008 expanded edition of this early album from the '60s Irish Folk-Pop trio. In the mid 1960's, The Bachelors were on a par with the Beatles in terms of actual records sold, and outselling the Rolling Stones. We go back to their first LP and how The Bachelors were initially presented to the US market with the album simply entitled Presenting The Bachelors. It contained two more tracks than the UK equivalent. As is well-documented upon signing to Decca in 1963, their first producer was, the soon to become legendary US producer Shel Talmy. The singles Talmy cut were not all on the first LP, but they have been included here as bonus tracks. Thus we present the beginnings of one of the most phenomenally successful groups from the '60s. 19 tracks. RPM.
