2008 reissue of this seminal live mini album, originally released on Rough Trade in 1983 by Pop/Jazz fusion innovators, featuring 10 bonus tracks, the bonus tracks include three previously unreleased versions of tracks that were sourced from a pirate recording of the original gig in March 1983. Other bonus tracks include three tracks from a David Jensen BBC session and a recording from the legendary TV music program, Old Grey Whistle Test. Weekend were formed by former Young Marble Giants vocalist Alison Statton and went on to release three singles and two albums before calling it a day. Two thirds of the band went on to work together as Alison Statton and Spike, with remaining member Simon Booth forming Latin Jazz Soul band, Working Week. Cherry Red.
