Music makes the World go round.....was the sole thought of Jimmy Martin, when he moved from Luxembourg to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to become a professional musician. He became the singer and main songwriter for France's hottest rock export FISC, recording two albums with them. His debut solo album The Rhythm of Life with the hit single I Can't Fight Love hit the Canadian charts. In 1992 Jimmy achieved a double-gold award for the single All Kanner op der Welt, and in 1993 he wrote and performed the song which represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest in Ireland, broadcasted worldwide to over a hundred and fifty million people. In 1995 his second album Kids Of The Rockin' Nation featured big names such as John Edwards, Jeff Rich (both Status Quo), Laurie Wise field (Tina Turner) and Don Snow (Simply Red). The single Drivin' Through The Pouring Rain was written by Desmond Child, famous for his work with Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin and Cher. Now a well established figure on the music scene in Europe, Jimmy stormed the charts with his hit single Angels in 2002. For his success at achieving No.1 in their charts, Jimmy was presented a platinum award from RTL Radio in July 2003. Jimmy's songwriting and producing skills have been much publicised and talked about. The hard working cosmopolitan is back on stage with his new album Wild At Heart including duets with American superstar Rick Springfield (Love Somebody) - who has become a close friend over the years - and probably the best female voice in rock music Robin Beck (I Wish You Here Tonight). The album was produced by Jimmy together with Germany's top producer Tommy Remm (Jeannette, Silbermond), Grammy Award winner Clif Magness (Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson), Laurie Wise field and Rick Springfield. Jimmy Martin proves once again that he's a convincing artist, in the studio as well as on stage. Simply because, music makes the world go round...and Jimmy Martin makes the music.
